Camp Jupiter is a Roman demigod training camp near San Francisco, the counterpart to the Greek demigods' Camp Half-Blood. Percy Jackson arrives there with amnesia in The Son of Neptune and, after a quest to Alaska to free Thanatos from the giant Alcyoneus, is raised to the rank of praetor as a reward for his bravery.
