Siganus trispilos, also called the threeblotched rabbitfish, threespot rabbitfish, threeblotch spinefoot, or threespot spinefoot, is a marine ray-finned fish in the family Siganidae. It lives only in the eastern Indian Ocean off northwestern Western Australia.

The species was first described in 1977 by ichthyologists David J. Woodland and Gerald R. Allen, based on a specimen collected off Tantabiddi Creek at the North West Cape in Western Australia. Its scientific name *trispilos* combines the Latin *tri* for "three" and *spilos* for "mark" or "spot," referring to the three large spots on its upper body.

This fish has a deep, laterally compressed body, with its depth about half its standard length, and a deeply forked tail fin. The front nostril is a tube that widens into a flap behind the nostril. A procumbent spine sits in front of the dorsal fin. Like all rabbitfishes, it has 13 spines and 10 soft rays in the dorsal fin, and 7 spines and 9 soft rays in the anal fin. The spines contain venom glands. It can reach a total length of 33.5 cm (13.2 in). Its body is vivid yellow, with three large dark brown blotches on the upper flanks, tiny bluish ocelli on the head, upper flanks, and lower body, and an ill-defined brown stripe running diagonally through the eye.

Siganus trispilos is found only in the eastern Indian Ocean off northwestern Western Australia, from Ningaloo Reef to the Corneliesse Shoal, northwest of Port Hedland. It inhabits areas rich in hard corals, especially *Acropora* corals.

The fish lives in pairs among the coral, feeding on upright seaweeds. When disturbed, the pair darts into the coral for shelter. The spines of its fins produce venom; a study of a related rabbitfish found that its venom is similar to that of stonefishes.
