Susan's Horn
A single blast can summon aid from the most distant corners of Narnia when all else seems lost.
Susan's Horn is a magical artifact given to Queen Susan the Gentle by Aslan before the Pevensie children returned to England. The horn is a gift from Father Christmas to Susan, and it brings aid to whoever blows it.
Lore & Background
The Horn was presented to Queen Susan by Aslan before she left Narnia, alongside a bow with arrows that never miss their target. Its power was famously used in Prince Caspian, when Caspian blew it in his hour of need and drew the Pevensies back into Narnia. Legend holds that after the Pevensie children returned to their world through the wardrobe, leaving Cair Paravel to fall into ruin, the Horn remained hidden in the castle. It was found by the dwarf Trumpkin, who then presented it to King Caspian X centuries later, proving it was not lost to time immediately upon their departure.
Reader's Guide
The Horn functions as a potent magical catalyst within the Narnian universe. Its primary documented use is summoning aid: in the story Prince Caspian, it is used to summon the Pevensie children from a railway station in England to Narnia. While others may blow it, the magic is most potent when wielded by the blood of Adam's Sons or Eve's Daughters. It serves as a distress beacon that transcends distance, capable of summoning help from far-off lands or even crossing the veil between worlds. The Horn is not a tool for offense.
