Lore & Background

Writing began before the first film came out, so shooting could start before the young cast grew too old. Adamson wanted a bigger spectacle and a darker tone: the Narnians look wilder after years in hiding, and the Telmarines were given a Spanish influence. Filming began in New Zealand in February 2007 but mostly took place in Central Europe.
