Lore & Background

Bern, banished by Miraz, is found living in the Lone Islands, and Caspian makes him Duke of the Islands. A golden bracelet in a dragon's cave turns out to be Octesian's, and Restimar is found turned to gold in the pool on Deathwater Island. Rhoop is rescued from the Dark Island, and the last three lie in an enchanted sleep on the Island of the Star until someone sails to the world's end and leaves one of the crew behind; Rhoop chooses to sleep beside them. Of the seven, two prove to be dead and three asleep, and only Bern and Rhoop play any part in the story.
