Lore & Background
Narnia is a land of rolling hills rising to low mountains in the south, mostly forested apart from marshland in the north. It is bordered by the Eastern Ocean to the east, a great mountain range to the west, the River Shribble to the north and Archenland to the south. The Great River, which crosses the country from the north-west to the sea, is its economic heart; Beruna, Beaversdam and Chippingford are among its named towns.
