Prince Fielder
Slugging first baseman who holds the Brewers' single-season home run and RBI records.
Prince Fielder is a former first baseman and designated hitter who played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers. Milwaukee drafted him seventh overall in 2002 out of Eau Gallie High School in Florida, and he spent the first seven seasons of his career with the club before signing with Detroit in January 2012. He first reached the majors in June 2005 and became the regular first baseman in 2006, when he broke the Brewers' rookie home run record. In 2007 he became the youngest player ever to hit 50 home runs in a season, and he still holds the franchise records for home runs and RBI in a season. In 2011, his last Brewers season, he hit .299 with 38 home runs, set a club record with 32 intentional walks, and finished third in the NL MVP voting behind teammate Ryan Braun.
