Prince Fielder 50 HR Season
Fielder's 2007 season, the first 50-homer year in Brewers history.
Prince Fielder's 2007 season produced the Brewers' single-season home run record. After a strong first half he started at first base in the 2007 All-Star Game ahead of the two previous MVP winners, Ryan Howard and Albert Pujols. On September 15 he hit his 46th home run of the year, against the Cincinnati Reds, to break the franchise record, and on September 25 he reached 50, becoming the youngest player ever to do so and joining his father in the 50-homer club. He remains the youngest player in National League history with a 50-home-run season.
