Camitia rotellina, called the wheel top shell, is a marine gastropod mollusk belonging to the family Trochidae. Its discoidal, depressed shell is smooth, shining, and covered-perforate, ranging from 10 mm to 20 mm in length. The six whorls show very fine, oblique striations under magnification. Early whorls are whitish with obsolete spiral grooves, while later whorls are pale flesh-colored and bear a subsutural linear zone with oblique brown spots. The body whorl is dilated, obtuse at the middle, and spirally trilineate—one line above and two at the periphery—with a somewhat convex underside marked by two zones of brown spots. The transverse aperture is scarcely grooved inside. The columella is nearly horizontal, twisted above, and truncate below, and its callus coats the extremely oblique umbilicus. This species occurs off Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands, in the East China Sea, and off the Philippines.
