Narehate
The Hollows: beings deformed by the sixth layer's curse.
Narehate, or Hollows, are beings who survived the Curse of the sixth layer and were deformed by it, though there are other ways to become one, and they take many forms. Riko and Reg first meet them in Nanachi and Mitty.
Background
Nanachi explains that delvers who spot a Hollow kill it and take its belongings, preferring to report it dead, so Hollows avoid being seen. Many were created in Bondrewd's experiments at Ido Front, and Faputa is known as the Princess of the Hollows.
