Nux

A sick War Boy finds redemption through sacrifice.

Nux is a sick War Boy from Immortan Joe's cult at the Citadel. He is forced to receive a blood transfusion from Max Rockatansky, a universal donor, after Max is captured. Nux joins the pursuit of Imperator Furiosa and Joe's five wives, with Max strapped to his car. During the chase, Nux attempts to sacrifice himself to blow up the War Rig, but Max frees himself and restrains Nux, and Furiosa destroys Nux's car. Later, Nux sneaks onto the Rig to kill Furiosa but is overpowered and thrown out by the women. He rejoins Joe's army when it catches up. After being sent to carjack the Rig, Nux stumbles and drops his weapon, to Joe's disgust. Capable finds Nux hiding in the Rig and consoles him. Moved by her compassion, Nux joins the group and helps get the Rig moving again. In the final battle, Nux sacrifices himself by wrecking the Rig to block the canyon behind them, killing Rictus.
