P-Organ

P's mechanical heart and the game's skill tree.

The P-Organ is P's literal heart in Lies of P and doubles as the game's skill tree. Abilities bought with Quartz are slotted into nodes; filling every slot of a node unlocks its skill, such as an extra Pulse Cell use, a second dodge in mid-dodge or an extra Fable slot, and opening two nodes in one phase opens the next phase.

Background

It becomes available once P beats the Scrapped Watchman in Krat City Hall and reports back to Geppetto at Hotel Krat, where abilities are bought at the red chair called Geppetto's Tools. New Game Plus adds a sixth phase and NG++ a seventh. The heart matters to the story too: Geppetto finally asks P to give it up so it can revive his son Carlo.
