Krat's armed humans, each with their own loyalties.

Geppetto added a secret directive into the Covenant to control most Puppets.[1] Sentient Puppets with awakened "Ego" could bypass the Covenant's restrictions.[1] These Puppets can be revived versions of dead Humans who turned into Ergo.[1] The King of Puppets was the revived Puppet of Romeo, Carlo's best friend.[1]

The King tried to warn P of Geppetto's deception before his death.[1] The man posing as treasure hunter Alidoro is an impostor who killed the original.[1] The "King of Riddles" contacting P by phone is Arlecchino, one of the first Sentient Puppets.[1] A post-credits scene reveals Giangio is actually the deceiver Philippus Paracelsus.[2]

P is the revived Puppet of Carlo, who is Geppetto's son.[1]

A TheGamer walkthrough notes that after reaching Hotel Krat, players encounter NPCs including Treasure Hunter Alidoro.[3] Defeating main bosses in Lies of P rewards Rare Ergos.[3]
