Akashi's Zone
The king does not raise his voice in the Zone—he simply becomes the game.
Akashi's Zone is the Zone as entered by Seijūrō Akashi, captain of Rakuzan High, in the Winter Cup final against Seirin. Faced with Akashi's huge zone of defense, Kagami, himself deep in the Zone, despairs of finding a way through.

Lore & Background
Late in the final, after an internal dialogue in which his two sides seem to merge, Akashi starts supporting his team by setting up perfect opportunities. He enters the Zone again, and his support draws out his teammates' potential so that they enter an imperfect version of the Zone, which is possible because they are members of the Uncrowned Kings. Kagami is the only one who can stand against them until he opens the "true Zone", and Seirin wins 106–105.
Reader's Guide
Akashi's Emperor Eye, which reads and predicts movements, also lets him create "Perfect-Rhythmed Plays" with his own team, drawing out his teammates' true potential close to that of the Zone.
