Aoi Todo

Kyoto's strongest student, who decides on the spot that Yuji Itadori is his best friend.

Aoi Todo is a third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High, known for exceptional combat skill and an unorthodox personality. He was scouted and mentored by the special grade sorcerer Yuki Tsukumo, from whom he picked up the habit of asking men what type of girl they like.

Lore & Background

His technique, Boogie Woogie, instantly swaps the positions of two targets imbued with cursed energy when he claps. At the exchange event he is expected to help kill Yuji Itadori; instead, when Yuji's answer about his taste in women matches his own, Todo takes to him as a best friend and teaches him Black Flash in the fight against Hanami. He is also devoted to the idol Nobuko Takada.

Reader's Guide

In Shibuya he arrives in time to save Yuji from Mahito and loses a hand in the fight that follows, cutting it off before Idle Transfiguration can spread. He later fits a vibraslap to the arm so that he can swap several targets in quick succession. In the Shinjuku Showdown he helps bring down Kenjaku, backs Yuji against Sukuna and takes a Black Flash meant for Angel.
