Chrollo Lucilfer's Skill Borrowing
The Specialist ability that lets the Troupe's leader steal other users' Nen.
Chrollo Lucilfer, founder and leader of the Phantom Troupe, is a Specialization-type Nen user. His ability lets him directly steal the Nen abilities of other users and use them himself, storing them in a book he conjures.
Lore & Background
The ability is lost to him for a time: after the Troupe's clash with Kurapika in Yorknew City, Chrollo is afflicted by Kurapika's chain, which forbids him from using his own Nen or contacting his subordinates. Hisoka later finds an exorcist to remove the seal so that he can finally fight Chrollo.
With his Nen restored, Chrollo fights Hisoka at Heavens Arena, wins, and seemingly kills him. Hisoka revives and begins killing Troupe members, and Chrollo and the rest of the Spiders board the Black Whale to hunt him.
