Background
Zorin's troops execute members of the Wild Geese while she uses illusions to break their morale. She forces Seras to relive her parents' murder, cuts off her arm and fatally wounds Pip when he tries to save her. Seras drinks Pip's blood, becomes a full vampire and makes him her familiar, which makes her immune to Zorin's illusions; she then kills Zorin. The Major had warned Zorin not to underestimate Seras.
