Iscariot, the Vatican's secret Section XIII that hunts the supernatural.
The Vatican's Special Division is the Iscariot Organization, also called Vatican Section XIII: a secret branch of the Vatican that hunts down and destroys supernatural beings and heretics. As a Catholic body it is a bitter rival of the Hellsing Organization, which is Protestant like the rest of London.

Background
When Millennium invades London, Iscariot joins the fighting as part of Enrico Maxwell's power-hungry plan to wipe out both Hellsing and Millennium along with any Londoners in the way. Alucard's familiars destroy Maxwell and the army he gathered, and with the deaths of Father Anderson and Yumie the organisation loses almost all of its strength. Decades later it is led by Makube, with Heinkel as its top enforcer. Its trump card against Alucard was the paladin Alexander Anderson, a genetically modified Regenerator armed with blessed bayonets and holy barriers, whom Alucard calls his nemesis.
