Background
When Millennium attacks London, the Captain takes Walter to be made into an artificial vampire, restored to a much younger form. He reappears standing on Alexander Anderson's remains, kills Yumie and duels Alucard. His hasty conversion leaves him unable to regenerate and growing ever younger, and he loses his chance when Alucard vanishes after absorbing Schrödinger. Integra declares him an enemy of Hellsing; Seras, who saw him as a father figure, thanks him before leaving. Walter kills the Doctor aboard the Hindenburg II and dies in its explosion.
