Godric's Hollow is a fictional West Country wizarding village. It was the home of Lily and James Potter and their infant son Harry. The village has also been home to Albus Dumbledore, Bathilda Bagshot, and Godric Gryffindor, after whom it was named. At the centre of the village square stands a war memorial that magically transforms into a monument to the Potter family. At the end of the main street are the remains of Harry's old home. In Deathly Hallows, Harry discovers that the Godric's Hollow cemetery, where his parents are buried, also contains the grave of Ignotus Peverell.

In Their Own Story

In Deathly Hallows, Harry and Hermione visit Godric's Hollow. They see the war memorial in the village square, which magically transforms into a monument to the Potter family. They then go to the end of the main street, where the remains of Harry's old home still stand. Later, in the Godric's Hollow cemetery, Harry finds the graves of his parents, Lily and James Potter. He also discovers the grave of Ignotus Peverell, marked with the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.
