Halo 3 Legendary Edition
Premium edition of Bungie's Xbox 360 first-person shooter.
Halo 3 Legendary Edition is a premium retail version of the first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 console. The edition was part of a broader marketing campaign that cost Microsoft more than $40 million, aimed at selling more Xbox 360 consoles and attracting both casual and hardcore gamers beyond the existing Halo faithful. The game's final testing copy, codenamed Epsilon and confirmed by Bungie to be almost complete, was leaked to the Internet months before release, and retail copies appeared on eBay weeks early, with UK catalog retailer Argos accidentally releasing some copies a week early.
