Linda-058 is a SPARTAN-II supersoldier and a member of Blue Team. She is an elite sniper. Blue Team is led by Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and is composed of his fellow Spartan-II supersoldiers: Linda-058, an elite sniper; Kelly-087, a scout; and Frederic-104, a hand-to-hand combat specialist. The members of Blue Team are among the last Spartan-IIs left alive. In Halo 5: Guardians, Blue Team goes absent without leave to track down the artificial intelligence construct Cortana, leading to Fireteam Osiris being sent to retrieve them. Linda accompanies Master Chief and Blue Team on their mission to secure a derelict research station, and later follows Cortana's cryptic message to Meridian. On the Forerunner planet Genesis, Blue Team reunites with Cortana, who reveals her plan to use Guardians to achieve galactic peace through forcible disarmament. Linda and Blue Team are confined in a Forerunner prison by Cortana to prevent them from interfering, but are freed by Fireteam Osiris and the AI 031 Exuberant Witness. After Cortana leaves the planet, Blue Team is recovered and returns to Sanghelios.
