The Spartan-II who trained the SPARTAN-IIIs under the name Kurt Ambrose.
Kurt-051 is a SPARTAN-II in John-117's squad in Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, known for an intuition that saves his team on several occasions. In 2531 his timely intervention lets Spartan-IIs complete a mission against human insurrectionists.
Lore & Background
With his death staged by ONI, Kurt is placed in charge of SPARTAN-III training on Onyx under the name and rank of Lieutenant Kurt Ambrose, alongside Franklin Mendez; none of his former colleagues know he is alive. Devastated by his trainees' casualties, he begins illegal brain modifications to give them a better chance of survival.
