Lore & Background
As his body weakened Eddie took control of it, until Zato-1 died at the hands of Millia Rage. From Guilty Gear XX onward his body was taken by Eddie, after the death of his voice actor Kaneto Shiozawa.
The Conclave later resurrected Zato-1 for its experiments, and he served them until Faust defeated him. He then returned to the Assassins Guild and helped reform it into a legitimate intelligence organisation.
