Kiske
The noble knight whose sense of justice was forged in the fires of the Crusades.
Orphaned at the age of 10, Ky Kiske rose to become a legendary figure in the Guilty Gear series. He was a member of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights during the Crusades, where he earned a reputation as a formidable warrior. His rivalry with Sol Badguy began when Sol fled the order, taking the Fūenken (Fireseal) with him. Ky's story is deeply intertwined with Sol's, from their days as comrades to their eventual confrontation and reconciliation. He later becomes the husband of Dizzy and the father of Sin, and serves as a key figure in the kingdom of Illyria.
Lore & Background
Ky Kiske was orphaned at the age of 10. He joined the Sacred Order of Holy Knights and fought in the Crusades against the Gears. During this time, he became acquainted with Sol Badguy, who was also a member of the order under the nickname 'Flame of Corruption.' When Sol fled the order, taking the Fūenken, Ky earned the enmity of Sol.
In 2175, Ky led the Holy Order in sealing Justice away after Sol's fight with her. In Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, Ky confronted and engaged Sol in battle. After the fight, Sol and Ky finally settled their differences and went their separate ways, with Ky asking Sol to promise that they will meet again. In Guilty Gear 2: Overture, Ky was found trapped with a binding spell in Illyria, and Sol, Sin, and Izuna helped release him with Dr. Paradigm's help.
In Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Ky worked alongside Sol, Sin, Leo Whitefang, and Elphelt Valentine to stop the Conclave. In the epilogue of Xrd REV 2, Sol visited Ky's manor and challenged him to a duel. Ky entered a frenzied rage and managed to overpower Sol in combat after Sol remarked that Dizzy was a 'monster' like himself. In Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, Ky helps Sol kill a godlike I-No. In Dual Rulers, Sol presents himself at an official wedding of his daughter, Dizzy, thanks to Vernon's encouragement.
