Santanni

Santanni is a planet 9,000 parsecs from Trantor. Raych Seldon, the adopted son of Hari Seldon, emigrates there from Trantor with his wife and younger daughter. In 12,058 G.E. the people of Santanni attempted to rebel against the Galactic Empire, and Raych was killed in the rebellion while defending the University of Santanni. After the Foundation was established, Santanni traded with it until the rebellion of Anacreon cut the trade route.
