Kingdom of Siwenna
A conquered province where the Empire's machinery ground the periphery into submission.
Siwenna was the capital of the Normannic Sector of the Galactic Empire and once one of its richest planets, governed by an Imperial viceroy. After its viceroy Wiscard rebelled shortly after 100 F.E., an Imperial Admiral put most of the population under the atom blast; Siwenna then rebelled five times and eventually became independent before Bel Riose conquered it in 200 F.E. When Riose's campaign against the Foundation ended, the Siwenna province passed to the Foundation, the first Imperial province to pass directly from the Empire to the Foundation.
Lore & Background
As Trantor's grip loosened, Siwenna faced the same binary choice as other Imperial territories: remain loyal to a dying Emperor or fall to the rising Foundation.
