Lore & Background
The boxed set tells how, at the Battle of Pesh, the outnumbered Wind Dukes of Law built the rod to fight the armies of Chaos led by Miska the Wolf-Spider. A glancing blow from the rod wounded Miska and imprisoned him in the Abyss, leaving Law and Chaos in a standoff. To protect it, its makers designed the rod to break into its seven sections and scatter whenever its full power is used, and the boxed set's adventure sends players to recover them.
