A physical card deck was printed as an insert in Dragon issue 148 (August 1989) and in Madness at Gardmore Abbey (2011). Reviewers of the boxed set praised it as a way for a Dungeon Master to make a game unpredictable, while criticizing its price and the uneven quality of its story ideas.
