Flamengo's Copa do Brasil wins include 1990, 2006, 2013 and 2022.
The Copa do Brasil is a knockout football competition played by 126 clubs, representing all 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District. It is the Brazilian domestic cup and is considered almost as important as the Campeonato Brasileiro. The winner qualifies for the next edition of the Copa Libertadores.

Lore & Background
Flamengo won the second edition, in 1990, beating Goiás in the final. After losing finals in 1997 to Grêmio on away goals, in 2003 to Cruzeiro and in 2004 to Santo André, they won it again in 2006 against Vasco da Gama. Further titles followed in 2013 against Atlético Paranaense and in 2022 against Corinthians, on penalties.
Reader's Guide
The competition is a single elimination knockout tournament. In the first two rounds, the winner is decided after a single leg; from the third round onward, ties are two-legged. The first round is played at the lowest-ranked club's stadium, with the away club having a draw advantage. Since 2023, the tournament has been sponsored by Betano and is known as the Copa Betano do Brasil.
