Arthur is a character in Army of Darkness, the third Evil Dead film: the ruler of a small kingdom locked in a war with Henry the Red and his men. Marcus Gilbert plays him. His name may be a nod to King Arthur.

Lore & Background
When Ash lands in the past, Arthur takes him for one of Henry's men and has him thrown into a pit holding deadites. Ash kills the deadites, escapes, overpowers Arthur and makes him help get him back to his own time. Arthur's men then fight beside Ash against Evil Ash's army of Deadites, and Henry the Red brings his forces to join them. Once Evil Ash and his army are beaten, Arthur and Henry embrace as friends instead of fighting, which ends their long war.
Reader's Guide
In the original draft of the script Arthur does not survive the final battle and is given a funeral before Ash tries to return home. Goldtooth, the man who whips Ash and Henry's men as they are dragged to the castle, is one of Arthur's men. The 2022 video game Evil Dead: The Game includes Lord Arthur among its playable characters from Army of Darkness.
