Twelve Points
The top score in the 1-8, 10, 12 scale used since 1975.
Twelve points is the highest score a country can give in Eurovision voting. The scale - 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points to ten songs - was introduced in 1975, after various other systems had been used before. Under the current system each participating country awards two such sets, one from its professional jury and one from the public, and the winner is the song with the most points overall.
