Glossu Rabban
The Baron Harkonnen's brutish elder nephew.
Glossu Rabban is the elder nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and the son of Abulurd Harkonnen II. In Dune the Baron plans to let Rabban misrule Arrakis harshly so that his younger brother Feyd-Rautha will later look like the people's saviour. Known on Arrakis as "the Beast Rabban", he is killed by the Fremen and the people of Arrakeen when Paul Atreides retakes the planet. He is played by Paul L. Smith in the 1984 film and by Dave Bautista in the 2021 film and its 2024 sequel.
