Grimstroke
An ink-corrupted artist mage who binds souls with his brush.
Grimstroke is a ranged Intelligence hero in Dota 2 played as a support and disabler. Stroke of Fate paints a damaging line across the ground, Phantom's Embrace latches a spirit onto an enemy to silence it, and Ink Swell coats an ally in ink, speeding it up while it damages nearby foes. His ultimate, Soulbind, links two enemy heroes so spells hitting one also hit the other.
Background
In the city of Ashkavor he was meant to become a new guardian by binding the people's souls to his own with brush and runestone. He had secretly tainted his inks with ichor to make them stronger, and the ritual went wrong as the corrupted ink spread over his body even as the forbidden power poured into him.
