The Wisp, a fundamental force present on every plane at once.

Io is a ranged Dota 2 support that strengthens a partner. Tether links Io to an ally and shares healing with them, Spirits sends orbiting wisps that hurt enemies, and Overcharge boosts both Io and its tethered ally. The ultimate Relocate teleports Io, and any tethered ally, anywhere on the map and back again.

Background

Io is described as one of the Fundamentals of the universe, older than time and only partly present in the physical world at any moment. It embodies the forces of attraction and repulsion that hold matter together, and it uses that pull to make its allies stronger.
