Invoker

The arsenal magus whose memory holds ten spells at once.

Invoker is a ranged Intelligence hero in Dota 2 with an unusual kit. Instead of fixed spells he controls three elements, Quas, Wex and Exort, and combines them with Invoke to call up one of ten different spells. He is classed as a carry, nuker, disabler and escape hero.

Background

In an age when magic was an art of memory and most wizards could only recall a few spells, Invoker could hold ten and cast them instantly. He practised and discarded many more, making room in his mind for those he found most useful.
