Oracle is a ranged Intelligence hero in Dota 2 played as a support. Fortune's End damages and roots a target, Fate's Edict protects or disarms, and Purifying Flames deals damage that then heals the target. His ultimate, False Promise, delays all damage and healing an ally receives for a short time.
Background
The kings of Cymurri bought their oracles from the Ivory Incubarium in the Zealot's Range, prophets whose souls roam far beyond their bodies. Nerif was sent to serve the last of the stone-helmed kings, and his prophecies did not merely predict the future but seemed to change it.
