Plot
A blizzard causes a police transport wagon to crash into a tree while carrying a convicted murderer. The prisoner, Jack, and the officers trek through the storm to a small airport. Inside a restroom, the officers are murdered by an alien disguised as a preacher, who then discloses a scheme to conquer Earth. Jack kills the creature, which dissolves into nothing. The airport’s pilot and stranded passengers assume Jack murdered the policemen, but their suspicion shifts when another woman dies in a struggle and her body also disintegrates. They tie Jack to a post and beg the pilot to take off, but she refuses due to the hazardous weather. A businessman, anxious for a meeting, threatens the pilot with a gun and shoots a human serviceman who intervenes, killing him. Jack breaks free and reclaims the weapon. An elderly woman is exposed as an alien by the baggage x-ray machine and kills the security guard. Radio contact fails, so the pilot heads to the hangar, where she finds a radio with some children. These children, who claim no parents, reveal themselves as aliens, and Jack escapes with the pilot. They discover a two-person biplane, and Jack convinces her to fly him to Canada to avoid prosecution. The remaining passengers barricade themselves in the lounge, refusing entry to the alien children. They find boxes containing an avalanche-clearing gun and use it to fight the children when they attack through the back of a vending machine, but two more passengers die. Jack and the pilot crawl through air ducts back to the main hall, rescuing survivors along the way before the aliens breach the lounge. The group returns to the hangar, losing the businessman to the aliens during the retreat. A surveillance camera shows one passenger, Darien, still alive in the lounge. Jack and the pilot sneak back to save him, narrowly dodging a pursuing alien and setting it on fire with gasoline as they flee to the hangar. Just as the pilot prepares to fly Jack out, a phone call comes in; Darien mimics the pilot’s voice, screaming that Jack has been killing people. Darien, revealed as the alien invasion leader, holds them at gunpoint and forces mind-controlling handcuffs onto a passenger, making her accuse Jack. The pilot refuses to wear the cuffs or blame Jack. Jack appears to accept the alien’s offer to escape alone, but then reveals he removed the bullets from the gun. The surviving humans cooperate to throw Darien into a moving propeller, killing him. As police sirens approach, the pilot keeps her word and flies Jack to Canada.
