Format
Each episode followed a single contestant through songs of increasing difficulty and prize value. After completing a song, the contestant could continue or stop with their winnings. An incorrect answer before the guaranteed level meant no prize; after that, winnings fell to the guaranteed sum. Those completing nine songs faced a final challenge for the £250,000 jackpot, requiring correct lyrics from a UK top-ten single. A live studio band led by Jess Bailey performed the music.
