Joff Bush
Bluey's main composer, who wrote the theme song.
The theme song and half the soundtrack for the children's animated series Bluey were composed by Joff Bush, who serves as its primary composer.[1]
Making and release
Bush worked on series such as The Family Law and Australian Survivor before Bluey.[1] According to Bush, a distinct musical style is created for each individual episode of Bluey.[2] Bush prefers to start his involvement with episodes while they are still in the scripting phase.[2] The Bluey score is recorded using live instruments on a regular basis.[2]
While working on the series Charlie and Lola in the United Kingdom, Brumm drew inspiration from its original compositions.[2] In the episode "Sleepytime" (Series 2 Episode 26), a movement from Gustav Holst's The Planets is given a prominent placement.[2]
