Jidanbō Ikkanzaka is one of the gatekeepers guarding entry to the city. Squad Nine publishes the Seireitei Bulletin, edited by lieutenant Shūhei Hisagi. The Wandenreich hid its own fortress in a pocket dimension in the Seireitei's shadows.
Reader's Guide
Uryū and Orihime cross the Seireitei disguised as Soul Reapers during the rescue.
Ichigo and his friends break into the Seireitei to rescue Rukia Kuchiki. In the second Wandenreich invasion Yhwach replaces the Seireitei with Silbern and scatters pieces of his soul through it, so every death on the battlefield extends his life.
