Rachael's Photograph
A photograph of a childhood that was never hers.
Rachael's photograph is a picture of her as a young child, which she takes as proof that she is human. It is the physical evidence anchoring the false memories implanted in her by Dr. Eldon Tyrell, drawn from his niece's actual childhood. She brings it to Rick Deckard's apartment after her Voight-Kampff test to prove her humanity; he tells her that her memories are implants from Tyrell's niece, and she leaves in tears.

Lore & Background
Within the Tyrell Corporation, emotional stability was achieved through memory implantation. Rachael, a Nexus-7 prototype, believed she was human because she carried the memories of Dr. Eldon Tyrell's niece. The photograph acts as the visual keystone of this delusion, grounding her fabricated past in tangible reality. When she shows it to Deckard, he tells her that her memories are implants.
