M&T Bank Stadium Opening
A new home next to Camden Yards, opened in 1998.
M&T Bank Stadium has been the home of the Baltimore Ravens since it opened in 1998. It stands next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards and has a listed capacity of 70,745. Ground was broken in mid-1996, shortly after the Ravens arrived, while the team spent its first two seasons at Memorial Stadium, which was judged too old for an NFL team even though some residents wanted the Ravens to stay there.

The site had been the Wm. Knabe & Co. piano factory, which closed in the Great Depression, and a keyboard mosaic on the southwest corner commemorates it. The ground opened as Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards, became PSINet Stadium when that company bought the naming rights in 1999, reverted to Ravens Stadium after PSINet's bankruptcy in 2002, and took the M&T Bank name in 2003 under a 15-year, 75 million dollar deal, renewed in 2023 through 2037. The first college game there was Morgan State's 15-13 win over Delaware State on October 24, 1998, and it has hosted the Army-Navy Game in 2000, 2007, 2014, 2016 and 2025 and CONCACAF Gold Cup quarter-finals in 2013 and 2015.
