Terrell Suggs was selected by the Ravens in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft with the 10th overall pick, at 20 one of the youngest defensive players ever drafted. A unanimous All-American at Arizona State, he tied an NFL record as a rookie with a sack in each of his first four games and finished 2003 with 12 sacks, a Ravens rookie record, six forced fumbles and an interception, and was named Defensive Rookie of the Year despite starting only one game.
