Drow

The dark elves of the Underdark.

In Dungeons & Dragons the drow, or dark elves, are a dark-skinned, white-haired subrace of elves. Faerun's Underdark holds drow cities including the infamous Menzoberranzan and the ruins of Ched Nasad, as well as Maerdrimydra, Llurth Dreir and Sshamath. In the original Baldur's Gate series Viconia DeVir, a drow outcast and cleric of Shar, is a recruitable companion and a possible love interest for a male player character in Shadows of Amn.
