Death of Londo Mollari

Emperor Londo asks his oldest enemy to kill him before his Keeper wakes.

The death of Londo Mollari comes in 2278, when the Drakh control the Centauri emperor through a Keeper attached to his body. Londo learns that alcohol puts the Keeper to sleep for a few minutes, and when he is ordered to execute Sheridan he drinks enough to free Sheridan, Delenn and their son in exchange for their help in freeing the Centauri from the Drakh.

Lore & Background

Knowing the Keeper will wake and expose him, Londo begs G'Kar to kill him first ("I am as tired of my life as you are"). G'Kar begins to crush his throat, but the Keeper wakes, seizes control of Londo and retaliates; Vir Cotto later finds both bodies on the floor of the throne room. A few hours earlier, in the frame story of Babylon 5: In the Beginning, Londo had met two Centauri children, the nephew and niece of Urza Jaddo, and their governess Senna, daughter of Lord Refa.
