Z'ha'dum is the homeworld of the Shadows, the ancient race at war with the Vorlons. Despite Kosh's warnings, Sheridan confronts the Shadows there at the end of season three, and at the start of season four he is rescued from Z'ha'dum by the mysterious Lorien.
Lore & Background
The Drakh served the Shadows until the older race left Z'ha'dum, after which they became major antagonists late in the series and in the sequel Crusade.
