Format

Contestants answer trivia questions, mainly about music, through verbal, audio, and video formats during a taxi ride. After every five questions, they choose between keeping their current winnings (the Loot) or trading them for a prize in the boot, which may be worth much more or much less. If they choose the boot, their cash winnings reset to zero, but they keep the prize even if they later use all three strikes. Occasionally, the host offers a 30-second dare to win back some money if the boot prize is substantially less valuable.

Contestants have two lifelines called Shout Outs: a 30-second phone call to a friend (Mobile Shout-Out) or asking a passer-by on the street (Street Shout-Out). At the destination, they may choose Double or Nothing: walk away with their cash or answer an observation question about a video clip. A correct answer doubles the winnings; a wrong answer forfeits everything.
