Cast
Hulk Hogan, who held multiple championships in the WWF/WWE and WCW and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, served as host, creator, and executive producer (credited as Terry Bollea for the latter two). He acted as the main judge and dismissed eliminated contenders by declaring "You're a jabroni, get out of my ring!" Hogan died on July 24, 2025, aged 71. Eric Bischoff, known as executive producer and later president of WCW and as an on-air personality in WCW and WWF/E, was also credited as creator and executive producer alongside Jason Hervey and Hogan.
Jimmy Hart, the in-ring manager known as the "Mouth of the South" with his signature megaphone, accompanied wrestlers like Hogan to the ring. Trainers included Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Brian Knobbs (both close friends of Hogan), and Tom Howard. Bubba the Love Sponge served as special commentator. Former wrestlers made guest appearances: Bill Goldberg appeared in the sixth episode, and Rob Van Dam in the fifth.
Danny Bonaduce was originally eliminated in week 5 due to injury but returned in week 6, only to be eliminated again in week 7.
Episode recaps
In week one, the celebrities learned the forearm smash, clothesline, and a kick to the midsection; Team Nasty won the match. Week two covered the headlock take down, schoolboy pin, and shoulder tackle; Dennis Rodman injured his arm attempting a flying clothesline on Coach Nasty during practice, and Team Beefcake won. Week three taught the basic tie up, working the arm, and working the ropes, with a challenge to create individual gimmicks; Team Beefcake won again.
Week four introduced the hip toss, taking the turnbuckle, and the elbow smash; the two teams tied for best match. In week five, the celebrities learned "Over the Top" and "Duck and Boost" techniques and created their own finishing moves; Danny Bonaduce withdrew due to a practice injury, and the two teams merged into Team Hogan. Week six covered hitting opponents with weapons such as trash cans and chairs; Bonaduce returned after Hogan allowed him back because his injury was less severe than thought.
Week seven taught the arm drag, basic chop, and body slam. In week eight, Diamond and Butterbean were eliminated after the tag team event; Bridges was eliminated in the final episode after the final main event, and Dennis Rodman was declared the first CCW Champion.
