History
Season one of Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors premiered on MTV2 on July 16, 2010, with TV tapings held in multiple venues. Season two began on October 1, 2011, airing its first four episodes on MTV2 before moving to Hulu for the remaining episodes. The supplemental program Behind the Mask aired on MTV2 and the MTV website, following wrestlers from Mexico, the United States, and other countries. It explained that some American wrestlers, like técnico Marco Corleone, embraced Lucha Libre, while others, like rudo R. J. Brewer, sought to "Americanize" it by "cleaning up the Mexican elements" of Lucha Libre USA. This conflict between America and Mexico served as a long-lasting storyline throughout the seasons of Masked Warriors.

Flyer and San Juan Kid) and Treachery (Rellik and Sydistiko) in a three-way tag match.
